There are moments when the world grows quiet, when light softens the horizon and everything feels suspended between earth and sky. Carried by Light was inspired by those fleeting moments when beauty asks nothing of us except to pause and receive it.

Painted in luminous lavenders, soft violets, and glowing greens, the composition invites each viewer to discover their own story within it. Some may see the sea, others an open landscape. Like so much of life, it is intentionally left open to interpretation.

Rather than depicting a specific place, Carried by Light explores a feeling—a sense of peace, hope, and gentle movement toward something brighter. It is a reminder that even in seasons of uncertainty, light has a way of finding us.

This original painting is part of Kimberly Conrad’s Lavender Skies series, a collection celebrating beauty, stillness, and the quiet invitation to notice the extraordinary hidden within everyday life.
