This painting was inspired my trip to San Juan 

Very specifically, the walls one of the inner rooms of the Cathedral de San Juan  ( Cathedral of San Juan)

I took dozen of pictures of this one room.

I was fascinated by the church and wondered at the prayers and secrets that the very fabric of those walls must hold!

I darkened the colors in my painting a few degrees on this heavily textured painting.
